You’ll be delighted!
Ross Bay’s
design of our Community School of the Arts brochure has a classic element
to it: while elegant in appearance, it is warm and inviting; while timeless
in design, it is still focused. Ross’s expertise with photography,
writing, and design, along with care in discerning exactly what our organization
needed, resulted in work of the highest quality.”
Deb Kauffman, Associate Director
Community School of the Arts
At
a foundational level, Ross is gifted in graphic design and has pursued
his career with energy, focus and skill, looking for opportunities to
expand his knowledge, contribute positively and efficiently to the offices
and agencies he joins and build relationships. This has resulted in a
strong knowledge of how organizations work with branding and graphic identity
standards, how to do pre-press work with an interest in helping clients
keep budgets lower and relationships with printers positive and experience
working with a wide variety of projects from point-of-purchase displays
to brochures to ads to magazines to posters. His inherently sophisticated
organizational skills and use of technology distinguishes him from other
young professionals. Ross listens to the communication goals we have for
a specific piece and considers how the project needs to be aligned with
the goals of a specific program or office and the over-arching values
of the institution. He very often anticipates how to solve particular
challenges – well-chosen visuals to underscore important messages,
or suggestions for reaching audiences multiple times with different but
consistent presentations of the same message. He is creative within parameters
we offer, to best maximize opportunities to underscore the “givens”
and to positively surprise our audiences. For example, Ross recently created
a poster for us intended for a low-run, specific use, but that has been
expanded in circulation ten-fold by our College Relations office because
of the cohesive and engaging presentation of content.”

CALL project Ross
Bay worked in our firm over several months and designed and likewise assisted
in the execution of a variety of outstanding design projects. He worked
extensively on our corporate identity, extending it to multiple elements
of our total package, including PowerPoint presentations, brochures, and
flyers. One of the most important elements of that assignment is our website.
Ross never wavered in his commitment to providing the best possible design
work. He is an intent listener whose first and foremost priority is to
discern and understand what exactly you are looking for. He comes back
with ideas and again listens intently to your feedback. I’ve worked
with literally hundreds of designers over the years, and I’ve never
met anyone with that kind of listening. So what he delivers is exactly
what you’re looking for. His design is fresh and innovative and
so adaptable and practical! His patience and good heart are his best traits.
It’s actually the latter that has him produce outstanding work.”

Comadres Multicultural Marketing Communication
We
found Ross Bay Graphic Design to be very competent, innovative, and pleasant
to work with. The work we received was not just good, but it surprised
us with its extensive and careful detail. Ross was very open to our continual
calling, making suggestions, and even changing our mind.”
Erwin Boschmann, Executive Director
Indianapolis Peace House
When
I hired Ross Bay to design a research survey for my project, I expected
creativity, productivity and effective design. Ross delivered that and
so much more! I appreciated his willingness to work with me – tweaking
an already quality textual product to move it to the next level of aesthetic
impact for my organization.”
